Girls Trip to Rosemary Beach

friendship Girls Trip to Rosemary Beach :The Gift of Friendship + Resetting Rhythms

There’s something magical about a girls trip to Rosemary Beach. This past week, I spent time with some of my dearest friends along Florida’s 30A, and it was everything my soul needed. Between the salty ocean air, cozy conversations, and laughter that carried late into the night, I felt layers of stress begin to fall away. Sometimes stepping out of our routines is the only way to truly reset our rhythms.

In the busyness of daily life—school drop-offs, laundry piles, deadlines, and that ever-present to-do list—it’s easy to forget that we need connection just as much as we need productivity. We need sisterhood. We need those soul-filling moments where we put our phones down, quiet the noise, and simply be.

On this girls’ trip, I found myself breathing deeper, laughing louder, and noticing details I’d usually rush past. I remembered how good it feels to unplug, to prioritize friendship, and to give myself the gift of slowing down.

Rosemary Beach has a way of inviting you to slow down. Each morning, we grabbed coffee at Amavida Coffee before hopping on bikes to explore 30A. The cobblestone streets, pastel cottages, and charming sidewalks make every corner photo-worthy.

A highlight was wandering through Seaside, Florida—popping into little shops at the town square, browsing books at Sundog Books, and enjoying plates of seafood at The Great Southern Café. Evenings ended with long walks along the shore, watching the sunset paint the sky in pinks and purples. If you’ve been longing for a reset, this little stretch of Florida is the perfect place to exhale.

More than the beauty of Rosemary Beach, it was the conversations that marked me the most. Around tables, on porches, and during beach walks, we shared dreams, struggles, and belly laughs. We talked about motherhood, about pursuing our passions, about how to live more fully.

That’s the beauty of sisterhood—it’s about showing up just as you are and being met with love. It’s not only the fun but also the deep knowing that happens when you share your heart openly.

Coming home, I’ve been asking myself: how do I carry that same sense of peace into everyday life? It’s not realistic to live in vacation mode forever, but it is possible to weave little resets into the ordinary.

For me, that looks like slower mornings—sitting with my coffee before the day takes off. It looks like evening walks with the kids, noticing the golden light as summer shifts into fall. It’s creating cozy corners at home that remind me to pause—candles flickering, a favorite book nearby, a throw blanket waiting for someone to curl up.

Most of all, it’s remembering that connection is what matters most. A quick check-in text to a friend, a spontaneous coffee date, or simply listening fully to the people I love. These rhythms remind me that my worth isn’t in how much I cross off my list but in how present I am to the life unfolding in front of me.

If you’ve been running hard lately, let this be your reminder to pause. Say yes to a walk with a friend, a coffee date, or even a solo moment of quiet. Connection is one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves—and in choosing it, we rediscover our own hearts.
